Delta Line to show new BLDC flat motor at Northern Manufacturing 13
Delta Line will be bringing a little bit of Italian flair to Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2013. The Milan-based firm supplies a wide variety of motion-related components and solutions, such as DC and BLDC motors, stepper motors, linear actuators, spur gear, gearboxes, encoders and intelligent drives.
On its stand A26, Delta Line will present a number of new products, such as the Delta Line app for iPad, Android and Windows 8, and a BLDC flat motor – the 45BLW – from partner Fulling (pictured).
The BLDC flat motors have a compact, flat design (45mm diameter and 30mm length). In the new 16 pole 45BLW motor, the permanent magnets are located on the external rotor which rotates around the internal stator with the windings. In addition to the shorter design, the advantage of this construction compared to internal rotor motors comes from having the same output with lower torque ripple due to the rotor‘s higher moment of inertia. The motors can be produced to customer-specifications for voltages from 12 to 48V and a power of 25 to 80W, with or without hall sensors.
