G&B shows innovative pillar design at Northern Manufacturing 2013
G&B Projects brings its comprehensive catalogue pillars and stand-offs to Northern Manufacturing 2013. The firm offers a huge range of round, hexagonal and micro specifications, in practically any body length, with metric thread sizes from M2.5 to M12 as well as imperial and US versions.
For specific applications, G&B can manufacture custom sizes and specifications on request with fast turnaround and, in many cases, at no extra cost.
The company’s pillars feature an innovative insert design and locating process. Thanks to the exceptional strength and resilience of the solid body style and brass insert design, its nylon pillars are claimed to offer improved shock-resistance characteristics compared to wholly plastic parts while offering electrical insulation properties not attainable with wholly metal parts.
Also on show will be an array of spacers, brass and steel pillars, insulated bushes, screws, nuts, washers, screwlock assemblies and earthing bars. Almost every component can be custom-made to non-standard specifications, as required, and the company also has the facility to engineer machined components from customers own drawings. All work is strictly monitored under the quality procedures of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and all products supplied are RoHS compliant.
