Controlled ventilation improves environment and saves money

Viroxx-KWL-system Government legislation regarding building sustainability is imposing ever-stricter guidelines on energy efficiency through improved insulation, glazing and heating, all of which can mean little natural ventilation, warns Northern Manufacturing exhibitor KSM Superclean Systems.

Controlled ventilation systems are one solution. At the show KSM Superclean will showcase the latest addition to its range of air purification systems from Bioclimatic, the VIROXX-KWL plus. To avoid the build-up of mould, bacteria and allergens, the air purification system uses the Viroxx patented technology, combining photo-oxidation and ionisation.  This technology has been made available in a very compact design for the first time. The small dimensions mean that the bioclimatic unit can complement existing controlled indoor ventilation devices from other manufacturers.

As well as reduction of unpleasant odours, pollen, harmful bacteria, germs and even viruses, to reduce allergies and improve air quality, indoor air hygiene also saves energy during operation by allowing a portion of the air to be re-circulated. The company says that installation has been made extremely simple, the unit can be connected to any new or existing controlled indoor ventilation system.
