Thermal spray technology adds to coating services portfolio
Metal Improvement Company, exhibiting at Northern Manufacturing 13, has added thermal spray technology to its portfolio of services. The thermal spray technology complements the company’s core business of controlled shot and laser preening, engineered coating services and products alongside analytical services and customer on-site processing.
The company, part of the Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies group, says it offers a range of one-stop-shop capabilities within the UK and around the world. For example, it specialises in cost-effective surface treatments which increase strength and extend the life of critical components throughout the manufacturing supply chain, from the initial design stage to operating in the field.
