On-demand protective packaging proves popular
A new on-demand protective packaging system from Northern Manufacturing exhibitor Automated Packaging Systems is proving popular with customers looking to improve environmental credentials without compromising efficiency and product security.
As a result of its recently introduced GeoTech™ oxo-degradable and reprocessed films, Automated Packaging Systems’ AirPouch® FastWrap™ system now delivers environmentally sensitive protective packaging at the touch of a button, producing metres of bubble and tube wrap with no requirement for compressed air.
Automated Packaging Systems claims its unique EZ-Tear™ perforations reduce stress on joints, increases productivity and reduces storage and work area demands in the packing zone. One small box of FastWrap generates more than 422 metres of protective packaging.
The company says that feedback it has received highlights that AirPouch’s intelligent design is simple to use and labour-saving, consistently managing heat, air and speed to produce high quality seals reliably with minimal maintenance. AirPouch FastWrap uses knifeless technology, eliminating the need for a cutting system and associated maintenance.
