Sliding Systems launches ULTIO at Northern 2014
Sliding Systems will launch its new ULTIO range of ‘C’ section heavy duty telescopic slides at Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2014. Substantial investment in cold drawing and rolling of steel & stainless steel sections has enabled the firm to offer exceptionally high quality products with substantial price downs from existing suppliers. ULTIO slides combine rolled and cold drawn steel for strength with stainless steel bearings and very high corrosion resistance plating. ULTIO comprises of two, three and four beam slides offering up to 150% extension with 350kg loading. Units are manufactured in steel, stainless and non-corrosive aluminium.
ULTIO slides are designed for heavy duty ‘fit and forget’ applications for the withdrawal of equipment on trains, emergency and military vehicles. Machine building, heavy electronics and aerospace are also key markets. With the launch of this range and volume production capacity, the firm claims to be able to offer the end user much more competitive prices than its European competitors, leading to considerable price downs across all markets.
