Video equipment offers 3D inspection
Returning to Northern Manufacturing for 2016, PeplerOptics will show new video inspection equipment from digital microscope suppliers Dino-Lite and Kitotec.
The new model in Kitozoom range and the compact USB microscope from Dino-Lite are already available from the company. The Kitozoom Kito-70-DVI offers 3D inspection and can inspect at different angles in full HD resolution. It is fitted with a high-end DVI camera. The 3D video microscope is used in electronics industry for inspection of SMT solder joints, capacitors and connectors as well as in the mechanical industry for checking drills and tools.
Visitors to the stand will also see the Dino-Lite AM7915 Edge series USB digital microscope (pictured). The 5Mpixel AM7915MZT merges auto-magnification reading (AMR), extended depth of field (EDOF) and extended dynamic range (EDR) into one unit. According to the company, image quality and flexible LED illumination with adjustable polariser deliver the performance needed in many areas of inspection.
