Dakota demonstrates barcode and mobile computing technology
The latest in mobile data capture technology to increase efficiency throughout an enterprise will be showcased at Northern Manufacturing 2017. On the Dakota Integrated Solutions stand, there will be demonstrations of wireless technology. The company offers industrial wireless local area network (WLAN) access points for high-speed connectivity in industrial environments. It also provides a no-obligation consultation service to help specify the most suitable wireless infrastructure for a premises. The company’s team is trained to link WLAN technology into existing warehouse management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) Systems.
Visitors will also see hardware products for barcode scanning and printing applications, including direct part marking barcode scanners. Other options are voice picking solutions, achieving time savings through reduction in manual data entry. For stock control, there is the Smart-Code, out-of-the box, easy-to-use package already in use by SMEs looking at improving their stock management processes and looking to take pen and paper out of their inventory management.
