Manufacturing services adds dedicated med-tech facility
Manufacturing services being showcased by White Horse Plastics at this year’s show include tight tolerance technical injection moulding and sub-assembly manufacture.
The company was founded in 1973 and offers development, design, and in house tool-manufacture through to lean-manufactured serial production services. In addition to ISO9001, ISO 14001, and TS 16949, it now has ISO 13485 accreditation, the key standard for suppliers of med-tech manufacturing services.
At the company’s Oxfordshire facility, a dedicated white room area for med-tech related production has been developed. This joins over 30 injection moulding machines, CAD/CAM facilities, CNC optical measurement, CMM systems, insert loading and camera inspection, a fully equipped tool room and dedicated med-tech manufacturing space.
Material experience ranges from standard polymers, nylons, acetals, polycarbonates, ABS and TPEs through to the more exotic engineering polymers.
