Plain bearing design and manufacture since 1905
Covering the UK and Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, mainland Europe and the Nordic countries, Northern Manufacturing 2014 exhibitor Coleherne has been a family owned business since 1905, designing and manufacturing plain bearings. It supplies to all the major rotating plant equipment manufacturers.
The company has three arms, design, manufacture and repair service for fluid film white metal bearings, representation for Kingsbury Inc. U.S.A. and a joint venture to manufacture products. In 1990, it introduced a sub-contract laser cutting divison. It offers fusion cut / nitrogen for 20mm thick stainless steel and 10mm aluminium, and flame cut / oxygen for 25mm thick carbon steel.
