New Prestige markets for Mini Gears
Not a company for standing still, Northern Manufacturing 14 exhibitor Mini Gears has diversified and invested. Now, in addition to the commercial gears and racks it makes for its traditional power transmission industries, the company manufactures a range of high-precision machined components for specialist markets such as autosport and classic cars, aircraft seating and the high end valve industry, machining materials for subsea and topside applications.
The privately-owned subcontract manufacturer offers CNC machining services, five axis, one hit machining, gear cutting, rack cutting, gear grinding, milling and turning. The technical sales team and directors will assist with engineering challenges and, if required, provide design help at the start of a project when costs are being evaluated.
Components on the stand include complete sets of painted aluminium machined kits for first class aircraft seating, precision machined components for the valve industry, lay shafts, steering racks, flywheels and ground gears for the autosport industry.
