LEMO’s Tiny Trio at Northern Manufacturing 2014
Smaller diameter contacts are a continuing trend for LEMO, using the company’s inbuilt spring to ensure continuous contact, even in conditions of high vibration.
The company is showing three ranges at Northern Manufacturing 2014. In the the first, LEMO squeezed five contacts into its tiny 00 series, for which the plug diameter is only a nominal 6mm, for communications and other equipment where a very small, yet tough connector is required.
The second new range, the T Series, is a waterproof version of the B Series, with the same panel hole fixings, allowing customers to upgrade equipment without having to change panels. The size 0T range has been launched with further sizes to be launched soon.
The third development is the smallest member of the M Series ratchet coupling connectors which are smaller alternatives to standard military connectors such as MIL C38999.
