Bespoke batteries for harsh environments
Battery systems used across a broad spectrum of sectors including telecommunications, petro-chemical, medical, defence and security, aerospace and rail will be demonstrated by DMS Technologies at Northern Manufacturing 2014.
At the show, the company will exhibit a range of bespoke, custom built battery packs. These illustrate capabilities with a range of technologies including sealed lead acid, NiMH, NiCd and lithium.
In addition to its Red Flash brand batteries, the company is the UK value-add distributor for Enersys and distributor for Lifeline, the deep-cycle battery range. It is also a distributor and assembler for Tadiran lithium cells. Ancillary equipment including chargers, inverters, DC/DC converters and battery protection will also be displayed.
The company is the original manufacturer of portable power systems for engine start, used by the MoD, UK and European recovery organisations and fleet operators. Other branded products are used on the UK’s rail network powering points, level crossings and other signalling applications in rural areas.
