Battery power increases dot marker versatility

pryor Pryor Marking Technology will launch a new addition to its range of portable electromagnetic dot marking machines at Northern Manufacturing 2014. A new battery operated version of its 3000 controller enables the convenient use of electromagnetic dot marking machines with no need for a power supply. This increases mobility, enabling greater versatility, increasing usage and efficiency.

The battery life is particularly long, says the firm, allowing up to two hours of continuous marking operations on force nine. The controller has a standby battery life of seven hours to ensure it’s available when required. The battery module is easily removed from the controller to be fitted into the external charger. The controller can still be used without a battery using an external power supply, enabling continuous usage in high demand periods. The new battery controller is compatible with all of Pryor’s portable dot marking machines.
