Precision parts meet critical demands

asgard_tmb With many years’ experience in supplying high quality, precision CNC turned components, Northern Manufacturing exhibitor, Asgard Engineering, says it has the knowledge and capability to produce parts for critical applications and highly demanding environments. These include medical and surgical devices (including surgical implants), food and pharmaceutical, pumps, valves and flow-control, nuclear and fossil fuels, power generation and control, aerospace, automotive, and specialty fasteners.

The company regularly produces parts to within 10micron tolerances and better on critical dimensions. Sliding-head lathes from Star Micronics produce complex parts from below 0.5mm diameters and up to 1m in length. All machines have cross-milling and cross-drilling capabilities and all have sub spindles, which reduces cycle times.

The company is a stainless and advanced material specialist, which includes competence in the manufacture of parts in high-alloy and duplex materials, such as Inconel and specialist aerospace and medical grades. It also produces medical, surgical, ophthalmic and orthopaedic components in titanium alloys.

As a sub-contract partner, it produces larger parts on a Doosan Puma 240MS turning centre, where we can produce complex parts up to 65mm in diameter.
