Signal switching can be customised
Modular signal switching and simulation for use in electronic test and verification will be highlighted by Pickering Interfaces at Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2017. It believes it offers the largest range of products in the industry for PXI, LXI and PCI applications.
The company also offers a range of supporting cables and connectors and has an in-house software team that has created its application software and drivers.
All module and cabling manufacturing processes are carried out on flexible manufacturing lines in two factories, allowing simple customisation. It is also claimed to be the only switch provider with in-house reed relay manufacturing capability.
Consistent heavy investment in R&D has led to over 1,000 PXI modules, ranging from its BRIC high-density switching matrices, RF/microwave and optical switching products, to precision programmable resistor networks for sensor emulation.
Products have a history of longevity, typically 15 to 20 years, and are supplied with a standard three-year warranty and include guaranteed long-term support.
