Nikon-Compilation overview_tmb The range, which will be showcased at Northern Manufacturing 2014, includes co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs), optical CMMs, 3D laser scanners, handheld laser line probes, X-ray and computed tomography (CT), optical CNC measuring systems, measuring microscopes, laser radar, and metrology software for 3D scanning, 3D digitising, 3Dinspection and reverse engineering.

Among current R&D initiatives, the company is heavily involved in delivering new methods of integrating metrology inside robotic production processes – particularly for aircraft structures, composite assemblies and turbine blades.

Industries include automotive, aerospace, energy, medical, white goods, telecommunications, satellites, universities, research, and materials.
