Plastic enclosures are custom designed
Plastic enclosures can be designed and manufactured to meet specific needs by Smartboxx, part of i4innovation.
At Northern Manufacturing & Electronics, the company will showcase enclosures from complex medical device housings to simple electronics enclosures. They are manufactured from UL listed ABS or cost-effective HIPS and there is no tooling cost, says the company, as the enclosures are fabricated – without tools..
As well as reducing time to market, designs can be changed to suit requirements and transition from prototyping to batch manufacture utilising the same technology.
DIN Rail and flange mounting, removable panels, battery compartments are all available to be designed in where specified. Finally, says the company, if requirements change, ‘we’ll change your enclosure’.
