Press brake technology has compact design

Bystronic UK preview edit_tmb Returning to Northern Manufacturing, Bystronic presents its press brake technology, the Xpert 40.

For the first time customers were involved directly in the development process of a new machine. What resulted is a press brake that will enable users to process small bent parts fast and cost-effectively. The compact design of this speed-machine enables users to bend small parts fast and cost-effectively, says the company. It will be launched this year and will round-off the range of press brakes in the small machine segment.

The lightweight design provides a high level of dynamics at bending speeds up to 25mm/s. This means it can bend small parts up to three times faster than larger press brake models, says the company. Over a bending length of one meter, the Xpert 40 generates a press capacity of up to 40 tons. The company’s innovation of the ByMotion drive control is claimed to ensure the finely tuned interplay between speed, precision, and power. The control co-ordinates the precise acceleration of the upper beam and the back gauges for bending results with the highest degree of repetition accuracy.
