CEM focuses on LED assembly
Contract electronics manufacturer and Northern Manufacturing exhibitor, LCL Electronics, is focusing on LED assembly in 2015, following “significant growth” in 2014. Customers in signalling, fire safety, audio, medical diagnostics and gaming approached the company for production, due to the company’s ability to achieve higher yields than other contract manufacturers.
It has a highly technical team with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the LED assembly and production process.
LCL also offers customers a full turnkey manufacturing solution, including prototype, pre-production and medium volumes of PCBs, product build and cable harnessing. In addition, LCL’s global purchasing expertise can drive down component cost, which coupled with its technical capabilities, can lead to a reduction in time and cost. This was demonstrated on a wireless product project, where the overall cost of the unit was reduced by 30%.
