Trumpf debuts software for metalworking
Demonstrated for the first time in the UK at Northern Manufacturing 2015, TruTops Boost is a software product combining Trumpf’s production machinery expertise and software, allowing users to work with automation, or interactively, or a combination of both.
Naturally, the company’s core technologies – punching, profiling and bending – will also feature on the stand, including a punch press that was introduced to the UK earlier this year and which demonstrates how automatic production can be economical, even when operated at low capacity. The press can be supplied as a standalone machine or with SheetMaster Compact automation. TruBend 3066 will represent the company’s press brake range. The space-saving model has automatic crowning to ensure consistent angles, and high axis speeds. Laser marking will also be demonstrated, with the TruMark Station 3000 with TruMark 5010 laser, together with details of the TruServices programme, and the TruTool range of portable fabrication tools available to try.
