Timsons showcases complete engineering solutions
Timsons Engineering Ltd provides a one stop shop for all subcontract engineering services. At Northern Manufacturing 2015, the firm will introduce its portfolio of services which includes casting, machining and mechanical and electrical fitting, which can be procured as standalone services or as complete tailored solutions. The firm is also able to supply machined fabrications and the machining of free issue components.
The foundry can cast in weights up to 2500kg while machine tools can cater for parts of up to 5000kg individual weight. The firm boasts a huge fitting area of over 2500 square metres as well as a maximum crane capacity of 30 tonnes with an under hook height of 4.7 metres.
Both machine shop and foundry hold accreditation to ISO9001:2008 and the company operates 100% inspection for all components and full inspection reports can be provided on request. Recent investment includes an internal grinder and investments for a five axis cam system and a heavy duty CNC horizontal milling machine are planned.
