Acquisitions expand wound components range
Trans_Tronic returns to Northern Manufacturing with its impressive range of wound components. In recent years, Trans-Tronic has moved to a purpose-built factory and acquiring Air-Tronics, Antrim Transformers, EMDEC/Tesla Transformers, Precision Windings and BLS Transformers.
As a result it can supply wound components from tiny air coils to three-phase transformers, including laminated, toroidal and ferrite versions. Parts can be manufactured to customer specifications or the company can advise and develop new designs. Quantities can be one-offs for development, to medium and high volume production for medical, instrumentation, green energy, defence, audio and other industries.
It is approved to ISO9001-2008 and holds approvals from KEMA, UL and Network Rail.
