Handheld milling replaces aluminium grinding

Finlex preview edit_tmb Handheld milling rings replace conventional aluminium grinding, to save time and money, says Finlex. At Northern 2015, the company will exhibit its single- and double-sided milling rings used on conventional angle grinders in the processing of non-ferrous metals. The stock removal rate is significantly increased, grinding dust disappears and no abrasive residues remain within the material, says the company. Total service life is between 2,500 to 3,500 hours and can typically do the job of 5,000 good quality standard bonded grinding discs.

On the company’s other stand, visitors will see the Weld Brush, weld cleaning technology.

The fast and inexpensive brush is compact, rugged, acid resistant, and easy to carry. The single unit, will clean stainless steel, brass, and bronze, after they have been heat tinted, or TIG, MIG, or spark welded. As well as cleaning, the unit can electro-polish and etch.
