Darian launches sheet metal fabrication service at Northern 2015
Darian Global Sourcing will launch a new sheet metal fabrication service at Northern Manufacturing 2015. The addition augments its existing offerings of machined grey iron and steel castings, pressure die-castings, forgings, CNC machined items, pressings and stampings to the UK and German market.
This new capability includes state-of-the-art laser and plasma cutting of plates up to 35 mm thick in carbon steel, Hardox and stainless steel. Oxy Fuel cutting up to 250mm thick, shear cutting up to 8mm thick and bending up to 60mm thick. Maximum bending length is up to 16 metres allowing large products to be manufactured in single sections saving fabrication time and cost. 2D laser cutting of round and rectangular tubes up to 160mm in diameter and 120mm in section can be processed. Modern welding stations ensure that simple and complex structures are welded with upmost accuracy. CE marking EN 1090 and production to rail standard EN 15085 will be in place later on in the year.
