Laser technology makes its mark

GlassMarking (1)_tmbFounded in 1975, Laser Lines is one of the leading suppliers of lasers, 3D printers and additive manufacturing systems. It offers a range of laser systems for laser marking, laser welding, laser cutting, laser cladding and laser micro-machining. At Northern Manufacturing 2016 it will demonstrate a laser marking system and display samples that show what can be achieved with the latest laser technology.

Highlights include Synrad sealed CO2 lasers of 10 to 400W power, Datalogic laser marking systems using DPSS, fibre and CO2 laser technologies, high power diode systems to 40kW, OR Laser pulsed YAG welding workstations, and laser micro-machining systems from Optec. Beam delivery options include conventional process heads and galvanometer scanning systems. On the diagnostics side, it supplies everything needed to measure a laser, including power and energy meters, beam profilers, and IR viewers.
There are several fully equipped laboratories in the purpose-built 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Banbury, Oxfordshire, to carry out demonstrations, testing and materials processing trials as well as feasibility trials on a material to determine if an application is compatible with a laser processing solution. Samples are returned with an applications report and recommendation. The support team offers applications engineering, training, installation, and maintenance and repair services for all our products.
